I loved taking pics of Brooke. So easy going, so chill, my kinda girl. I can’t believe how grown up everyone is getting. Just a sophomore when I first met her and now a grown-up senior. Miss Brooke…you are beautiful! You are gonna go places girl! And when I’m old and have a heart attack, you can come rescue me with your paramedic skills…hahaha…

I am DYING over these! Kylene came all the way from Montana to have her senior pics done by ME! (haha…ya I wish!) Her family is actually vacationing in Utah since they used to live here, and while they are here, she scheduled a senior session. So I guess in a way, she came all the way for me! hee…hee…a girl can wish, right?!? Anyway, back to the DYING over images part…that’s what I’m doing right now because I am so loving how these came out! I felt like I was so slow this session…I don’t know what it was about me. I felt like I was moving slow and totally spacing it throughout. Not myself. Maybe because before I got to the location, I almost got myself in an accident and almost died. Serious. It was as if my foot was lead and I totally ran a red light–and cars were coming from the side about to hit me. It was scary. And to top it off, Kylene, Kade, and her mom were in the car right behind me. They were probably thinking in their heads that they have a psycho photographer! hahaha…I promise. I’m not that crazy. I’m so glad that Kylene was ready and had her game face on…cuz I was a little shaken up a bit. She WORKED IT OUT! Hot Model style! I mean…she is gorgeous to begin with, but she was so fun and great in front of the camera. Seniors are so fun. so FUN!

Kylene–I hope you love these as much as I do…and there’s lots more to look through…good luck picking, because I don’t know if I could narrow them down. I just posted a few just so you can check ‘em out! You are amazing! You are going to have an awesome year for sure! You’ll have to hit me up when you come back out here for COLLEGE!:)

Crichton & Danielle MARRIED! | Utah Wedding Photographer

I am finally getting around to post a few pics from Crichton & Danielle’s wedding. It’s been crazy over here–and will be for the next week or so…bare with me on the posts! And to all of my brides and grooms waiting for their posts, I’m gettin’ there! promise.

Crichton & Danielle were such a beautiful couple–both inside and out. I’m glad I was able to be a part of their day.

The boys sure knew how to kid around…they cracked me up the entire time. But they are lookin’ hotness with the shoes and the seriousness…

The stake center was decorated so beautifully! You couldn’t even tell it was a stake center!

The entertainment at the reception was bomb. Loved every single moment. From the MC, to the dancing, to all of the amazing talent. Crichton even surprised his wifey by singing–and it was M-AZING!!! The middle picture of Danielle is her reaction to Crichton while he was singing to her. Isn’t that a priceless pic? I just love to see the love in the eyes…and Crichton on the right serenading her. It was perfect in every way. The singing throughout the night was friggin’ amazing.

Congratulations you two!!!:) Lots of LOVE!

Megh & Layne Engagement Part II | Utah Wedding Photographer

I have been crazy busy lately…and I’ve barely had time to even get to posting so this will be a shorter picture post. But I wanted to post a little something because I just love Megh & Layne–and I thought their engagement sessions turned out AWESOME. This was the couple where we shot some dope (do people say that anymore?) shots in the theater…and the weather was not so good so we had to reschedule. So, our second time around…the weather cooperated. Other than it being so friggin’ hot–and everyone was sweating like crazy…it was awesome. It was awesome in the fact that I pretty much laughed the entire time. I love this couple. I mean, they watch the Jersey Shore…what can I say?!? They are my type of peeps. ahahahaha…. I love their sense of style and how fun they are with each other. We got some crazy shots of them goofing around. I just can’t get enough of them! Can’t wait for their wedding coming up in September.:) Here are just a few shots for your viewing pleasure.:)

Mood Events & Production | Utah Wedding Photographer

I had the opportunity to take event and product shots from a recent wedding done by an amazing vendor–MOOD EVENTS & PRODUCTION. They are an event planning business based both in Utah and Hawaii–and their focus is helping you plan your wedding or event from start to finish with all the little details in between. They do everything from helping you conceptualize a theme, colors, creative decor, and personalizing everything to your taste and all on a BUDGET! They are AMAZING and best of all just super good people to work with. I met Garrett, one of the partners of Mood, on the wedding day but I felt like I had known him forever. Their whole team is just a hardworking, loving bunch that really help make your dreams come to reality. I loved their attention to detail and they were so organized! If you are planning a wedding–I would high recommend hiring MOOD to coordinate your day. With all of the weddings I have been to, the ones who hire professional coordinators always seem to have things put together–and the set-up always looks so beautiful. As a photographer, the design and detail elements are definitely important–and when they are tastefully and beautifully done it shows in your pictures. If you want to take the stress out of one of your most important days, hire MOOD. There I said it again.:)

“REEL” LOVE–Megh & Layne’s Engagements | Utah Wedding Photographer

This is Part I of a II part series of engagement photos. Why? Because of the crazy weather. We had to reschedule part of their engagements because it was raining and too dark to shoot outside…so you’ll have to sit tight for the second half. We got a bunch of cute shots while the weather was cooperating, but this post focuses more on the theater shots because I thought their idea was so cute and original. When I met Megh & Layne for their wedding consultation, they explained to me that they had this idea of shooting in a theater. They wanted to feature some of the theater shots in a future couples shower they were going to have–and their shower’s theme…”REEL LOVE.” Isn’t that so cute?!? So, part of the engagement shoot had to be in a theater. I was a little skeptical of how they would turn out since I hadn’t shot in a theater before…but I was up for the challenge. I really loved how they turned out…I used off-camera lighting (Thanks Sydney for your amazing assistant skillz!) to get the effect I wanted in a dark theater. Stay tuned for more of their engagement shoot coming up soon!

I thought the one to the right was hilarious…totally them. (it must be such a scaaaary movie! hahaha) ok.corny.I’ll stop.

These are just two shots of a bunch that were so cute…but in the interest of time, I edited these to show for now. Megh…you are so radiant and gorgeous. Layne…not to bad yourself!:)

Victoria’s Bridals | Utah Wedding Photographer

I am absolutely in love with all the green. But I hate rain. Rain and pictures do not mix. So when we pulled up to our location, it started pouring. We were contemplating cancelling the shoot, but Victoria had her flowers and everything and we just had to make it work. So, after a little waiting and chatting in the car, the rain subsided long enough for us to get out and get some shots out. And I’m in LOVE with the shots! Love Love Love all the green and Victoria’s beautifulness (is that even a word?). The rain came back with a vengeance when we were out in the field, so I literally only took a few shots and then we had to run back to the car. I was a little bummed that we couldn’t spend more time up there, but when we went down to the reservoir the rain had cleared and it was simply beautiful! Thank goodness for the weather clearing up just in time to get some shots!:) I couldn’t really narrow down the pictures since there were so many that I thought was HOT…so here’s a few for Victoria! Isn’t she such a beautiful bride?!?

Just a quick post of the Thoreson Family. We had to improvise on our location since they were having a party. Yet again. Last minute changes. I’ve known Tomoko-”chan” since I was a little girl. I hadn’t seen them in awhile–and when she contacted me about doing a photo session for their family I was so happy to do it for them. They are such a fun and beautiful family!:)

I had so much fun shooting Lyndsey & Quinn’s groomals. During the consultation, we talked about what they wanted out of their groomals session. I always try to involve my clients as much as I can because in the end, it is their pictures, and I want to infuse their style with my photographic style. They wanted to incorporate a little vintage feel , but also have some fun as well. They showed up complete with hats, sunglasses, umbrella, suspenders, birdcage veil, etc….I came armed with my grey settee couch.:) We even did a little trespassing and jumped over a fence to take pictures with the couch. Thanks Quinn for helping me get that thing over the fence!

I love this couple. Not only are they such cool down to earth people, but they feel like old friends. I guess Lyndsey can be considered an old friend….since I photographed a wedding a friend of hers about a year ago (Aubrey who I love and adore!) I remember passing along my card to her back then, and am glad that she actually called me up and wanted me to photograph their wedding! Lyndsey and Quinn are so cute with each other. Thanks for a great day guys! Can’t wait for your wedding!

I was taking pics of Quinn working it on the couch and Lyndsey was standing by me…and all of a sudden, she was like, ”Can I just go jump on him?” I was like, “What do you mean, jump on him?” She then proceeded to jump on his lap and snuggle and smooch with him…which I am totally in love with. Can you please make this a big canvas over your bed. pleez!
