Just a quick post of the Thoreson Family. We had to improvise on our location since they were having a party. Yet again. Last minute changes. I’ve known Tomoko-”chan” since I was a little girl. I hadn’t seen them in awhile–and when she contacted me about doing a photo session for their family I was so happy to do it for them. They are such a fun and beautiful family!:)
Muray contacted me about doing a family session after she saw the post on the tree. Yup. The tree that I love so much. So we scheduled a session which ended up getting canceled because of the crazy weather. We were finally able to shoot there–thank goodness for the weather cooperating lately because I’m up to my ears in rescheduling shoots! ha!
The Andertons were such a joy to photograph…little Cole was as funny as can be. It took a little while for him to warm up to me, but when he did, he wouldn’t even sit still long enough for me! He was full of energy and so fun! I loved his “bubbly” funny faces that he would make. Such a character!

Meeting up with LeeAnn & Kuni’s little family was a breath of fresh air for me. I came home thinking how much I missed shooting families. Aren’t they such a cute little family?!? They came to the shoot with purple & black accent colors…I swear I didn’t know it before I met them at our location. The colors worked perfectly and they were so cute. Loved everything about them and their style! (They probably have something else to say about mine as well…I showed up in gym clothes. ya. cool. I know. But I had plans to work out after the shoot so I have a good excuse).
This family session was no ordinary family session…you see, LeeAnn & Kuni will be getting married in August–so this was a sort of engagement/family shoot. LeeAnn & her son Bryant, and Kuni & his son Ali will soon become one big family! I am so excited for them. They truly deserve each other and are so cute with each other! Thanks for letting me photograph your adorable family. Your boys cracked me up the ENTIRE time, with the “old man hands” and the girlish superman poses…ahahahaha….Congratulations to you guys! Love ya! Here’s just a peek because if I had to choose, I’d be editing a ton, which would take me forever…which would mean that it wouldn’t really be a sneak peek, right? so here it is…just a peek. :)

These boys were a riot! And that’s NOT Bryant’s middle finger in the bottom picture. It’s his pointer finger. 
Aren’t they SOOO cute together? yes. yes. yes. And LeeAnn…you are simply GORGEOUS. Can’t get over it. Just can’t.
What can I say about this awesome family…To start, they’ve had their session scheduled so long ago…and each time the session date started creeping near, something would happen. Someone would either be really sick, the weather would be awful…something bad would always happen! But FINALLY we got good weather, and everyone was doing good so we jumped at the chance.
On a sidenote…I hate winter. Man, we lost light so fast I had to work quickly to get some pics in. Luckily the Torgersons were such good sports–the kids were SOO well behaved and we were able to rock it out quickly. The MOON even came out as we were finishing up the shoot…which means it was getting DARK! YIKES!
