P.S.  I tried to climb something myself.  Just a lowly fence.  Something that Matt & Sachi would jump over…but um…I got stuck.  And I couldn’t get my fat booty or my leg to help me get over it.  I’m sure they were laughing their heads off inside, but ya, I even got a battle wound on my toe for my efforts or lack thereof.  Thanks for being prepared with a bandaid Sachi!  Love you!

Sachi & Matt don’t really like their “serious” look, but I gots to say, the one on the right is one of my favs of them.  They are HOTNESS!

These are just two shots of a bunch that were so cute…but in the interest of time, I edited these to show for now.  Megh…you are so radiant and gorgeous.  Layne…not to bad yourself!:)

It was so fun to shoot their pics…they are high school sweethearts!  Can you believe it?  Aubrey waited for Josh all through his mission…and when he got back, they dated some more, and ended up getting engaged.  That’s true love!  I love how they were so comfortable around each other…I think that was due to them dating for such a long time.

Aubrey & Josh–it was a blast shooting your engagements.  Thanks for putting up with my “hahas” and lame jokes.  You guys are so cute, and such genuine nice people.  Thanks for having me shoot you guys!  Can’t wait for your wedding day!:)

Finally some wackylicious shots.  I thought these turned out so fun.  I love Josh’s crazy faces in all of them.  I think I loved these so much that I’m going to do it on all of my engagement shoots.  I would enlarge these suckers on big canvases and make a wall collage.  Just sayin’…

Here’s why:

First of all…I am totally loving their names.  I’m thinking they’re going to have to keep coming up with awesome names for their kids because a simple “Sarah” won’t do if your mom’s name is Nizhoon and your dad’s name is Sascha (sorry all you Sarah’s out there…Sarah is a lovely name )

They really are HOT together.  Chemistry.  Period.

They are so fun and real.  Nizhoon is my girl!  I’m loving that she said, “Sascha is the first “white meat” she’s dated…”  Well, and Nizhoon is Sascha’s first “dark meat,” too.  Okay..I’m totally getting hungry right now so I’ll stop with the meat thing.

I love that they just laugh together and can be goofy together.

Thanks Nizhoon and Sascha for having me photograph this time in your life!  So excited for your crazy plans!:)  Love you both!

THE BLIIING!

This engagement shoot was a little different than most of my shoots, as I worked with Enge Chen Films to do a special “documentary” style video for Andrew & Victoria’s wedding.  We had this idea to incorporate the little chalk board for the two love birds to write special notes to each other.  I can’t wait to see what Enge came up with on her end.:)

Thanks Andrew and Victoria for being troopers throughout the whole session.  It was long…but I hope worth it!  You guys are amazing and I love working with you two!  Can’t wait for the groomals!:)  I promise we’ll get the swiss house and red barn in then!  hahahaha….

We started out where they met…at their apartment complex.  For the life of me I can’t remember the name of the complex, but it was right next door to my old stompin’ grounds–LIBERTY SQUARE!  ahahaha….

We had to use these STOP signs…they were beggin’ to be used.

This was Brad’s idea on how to incorporate the signs:  1.  She loves me not.  2.  She LOVES me!

Did I mention that this couple was all about goofy shots?!?  So yes…we had to play up the fact that Brad was over a head taller than Melissa.  Maybe it’s time for a facebook profile pic change?!?:)

This family session was no ordinary family session…you see, LeeAnn & Kuni will be getting married in August–so this was a sort of engagement/family shoot.  LeeAnn & her son Bryant, and Kuni & his son Ali will soon become one big family!  I am so excited for them.  They truly deserve each other and are so cute with each other!  Thanks for letting me photograph your adorable family.  Your boys cracked me up the ENTIRE time, with the “old man hands” and the girlish superman poses…ahahahaha….Congratulations to you guys!  Love ya!  Here’s just a peek because if I had to choose, I’d be editing a ton, which would take me forever…which would mean that it wouldn’t really be a sneak peek, right?  so here it is…just a peek.  :)
