Chumley Family | Utah Family Photography

ADORABLE FAMILY ALERT!!!  Even though it was bitter cold we worked it OUTDOORS.  The kids got pretty cold–you know, bugars coming down and everything…but they were patient and stuck with me till the end.  We’ll be doing the twins pics indoors since we just couldn’t get it in, but check out these in the meantime…Chumleys–you’re awesome!
um…gorgeous eyes Diana.  I’d kill to have ‘em…

Bartholemew Family | Utah Family Photography

This adorable family came all the way from Texas to have me photograph their family.  Now that’s what I call LOVE!  Well, I should be honest.  That’s not exactly the reason why they came to Utah.  Visiting family for the holidays and watching some awesome BYU football games were probably higher up on their priority list, but nevertheless, I was still able to part of their visit so I will still call that LOVE for SANAE!  :)   Thank you Bartholemew family for trusting me to capture your family.  Thanks for hanging in there in the cold–I know you had to get winter clothes just to come to Utah, but I hope it was well worth it.  I think you guys looked adorable!  It was nice to meet you guys!  ENJOY your sneak peek!!!:)

Fernandez Family | Utah Family Photography

How totally cute is this family?!?  It was great to work with a family with older kids for a change.  No chasing kids, no making goofy faces or jumping up and down.  Don’t get me wrong, I love the little ones, but I do love a calm, relaxed shoot as well.
Lately I’ve been shooting a lot at Star Mill in American Fork.  Everyone seems to be loving the rustic vibe that the Mill gives.  I always try to find new spots there to shoot since I don’t want to make it look like everyone has the same pictures, you know?  (a.k.a. GREEN DOOR–all you local photographers know what I’m talking about…)  Hopefully we were able to get that for the Fernandez fams since they had their family pictures taken there last year from another photographer!  ha..ha..:)  Hey, but if you like the mill, you like the mill, right?!?
To the Fernandez Family:  You guys are AWESOME!  Thanks for letting me photograph your lovely family.  You have a gorgeous family–love your eyes and the beautiful shiny dark hair.  love love love them.  Trust me when I say there is more to come…gotta enjoy my holidays for a bit, then I’ll get right back to you!!!:)

Horner Family | Utah Family Photographer

I loved everything about the Horners. A) Teri is a sister of one of my good friends from back in the BYU days. LOVE TERI. My new BFF!:) B) Their outfits were perrrfect! C) Teri MADE her daughter’s headband!!! I’m secretly jealous of crafty ladies. D) Good Lookin’ Dad &Mom=ADORABLE girl. E) They were fun, nice, and totally chill–which is TOTALLY my STYLE!!:)

I can’t say enough about how awesome the Horners were so I’ll show it in the images below…just a few, but definitley more awesomeness to come your way guys! It was great to finally meet you guys! Hope you like the sneak peek!

My fav from the session–to the left…:)

SHUM FAMILY | Utah Family Portrait Photographer

I have known the Shum Family before there was a Shum family! We were in the same ward as Marissa & Junior back in Laie and I was so glad they asked me to photograph their family! Aren’t their kids just the most adorable kiddos you have ever seen? Taking pictures really isn’t a kid’s favorite thing to do, so we bribed them with icecream…and as soon as we said the word, their eyes lit up and they forced a smile just for the camera. I was cracking up inside. I think the whole icecream thing wore off though because we kept on shooting and one of the little ones asked when in fact they were going to actually get an icecream. Sorry guys! You guys were wonderful! And I hope Mommy had plenty of icecream at home for ya! Thanks again! Here’s the sneak peek!

I love how these B&W turned out. I would blow all of these up real big…the one on the left would go in my living room, the one in the middle would go in the boys room, and the one on the right would go in the bedroom. Just sayin!:)
