So here is a couple of pics of a couple of my favorite girls I met at a recent workshop I went to. Aimee & Melody are photographers based out in Cali–and they do an amazing job. Check them out here and here. We were winding down on our shoot and they asked me to snap a couple of them together. Aren’t they gorgeous?!? It’s amazing that we as photographers never really get out pictures taken since we are always the ones BEHIND the camera. I myself hate having my picture taken, so I’m going to have to get over my camera phobia someday…Anyway, ladies–you guys are the best! Keep rockin’ it out in Cali! I hope you guys like the pics–it was so great to meet you both! If you’re ever out in Utah, you know who to call!:)

I normally don’t do school sports pictures, but I do the Springville Girls Basketball pics because my sis-in-law Nancy Warner is their head Varsity Coach. Let me tell you…these girls are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! We’ve watched a few games and they blow me away every time we watch. They went all the way to the State Championship game last year and ended up taking second, so they are coming back with a vengeance this year. They have some PLAYAS on this team for sure. They have a game vs. Orem tonight at 7PM–the first round of states so if you’re in the neighborhood, go check them out. Even though I live out in Lehi, I gotta support these ladies. They’re my girls…even if they don’t even know it. Go Lady Red Devils!
I lUUUURVE my Black and Whites. Just do. I especially loved these so I had to share. While I was working on their pictures, I just found myself not liking these in color as much. I love vibrant color–you all know that–but I must say, I hold a special place in my heart for B&W and some pictures stand out more in B&W. Elsie just has one of those faces that stand out in B&W… I think it’s because of her light hair, with her beautiful eyes that pop, and porcelain skin. Wall cluster in her bedroom? What do you think?
Just wanted to shout it off the roof tops for my sister-in-law who has just gotten accepted to BYU and will be going their in the FALL. We are so proud of her! We have a legacy of Cougar lovers on both sides of the family. Almost my entire family has gone to BYU (All three brothers, myself and my Dad), and pretty much my husband’s entire family have all attended BYU as well. So Tiffany…you go girl! Can’t wait to see ya this FALL!
