A picture speaks a thousand words | Utah Portrait Photography

We had a great night getting together with a few ladies from the neighborhood…  We talked about how we can learn to master some settings on our cameras and be more confident momtogs!  I took some snap shots of these hot mamas at the end of the night.  Thank you ladies for letting me ramble on and on….:)

5×5 Custom Album | Utah Family Photographer

Behold the album of AWESOMENESS!  That’s right.  I said AWESOMENESS.  This particular 5×5 custom album is done in a suede-like cover which is very rich looking, great to the touch yet very durable.  Albums are great for many reasons.  Here’s a few to get you thinking about purchasing an album for your next session:
*You’re honestly not going to print and hang every picture from your session, but an album is a great way to showcase all of your awesome prints without having them all over your house.  It will be a great keepsake for the future as well as a conversation piece to put on your coffee table.
*It’s a great gift.  Who wouldn’t want a high impact album full of gorgeous pictures of your family, senior, baby, or wedding?!?
*All albums are custom made and made to last FOREVER.  They are made to order to your liking.  (I.e.  you get to choose the color, texture, etc).  The pictures won’t fade and the album is constructed very well.  Super Durable, Super Cool, Custom made awesomeness!
*Comes in all sorts of sizes.  Can’t find albums like these in stores.  Truly unique.
Albums start at $90.  Ask me about them at your next session!:)

FOR SALE! CANON 5D $1050.00

UPDATE:  SOLD!!!

I am selling my Canon 5D camera body with 2 batteries and a charger to anyone interested.  I have loved using the 5D and have actually held on to it even since I’ve upgraded thinking it would be best to use it as a back-up but I’ve finally decided to go ahead and sell it.  I really really love my 5D but decided it was best due to $$ to let it go to a new happy home.:)  If anyone is interested, please e-mail or call me.  You really can’t go wrong with this camera, especially if you are wanting to take your photography to the next level.

Please pray for Gavin Norton!

A friend of mine, Natalie Norton (who is an amazing photographer from Hawaii) and her husband Richie is asking for prayers.  A LOT of PRAYERS!!!  Her baby boy Gavin is in critical condition right now due to PERTUSSIS and RSV.  He is only 8 weeks old.  They rushed him over to Primary Children’s Hospital since he was not responding to treatment and wasn’t stabilizing.  He was now in the PICU and they say he will need a medical miracle to survive.  My heart aches for her and her family.  They are such good people.  She has four little boys, all under the age of 6 and Gavin is her youngest.  He was born a couple of months ago.  Here is an excerpt from her blog.
For Gavin to live, it will LITERALLY require a medical miracle.

We have been informed by doctors that he is BY FAR the most critical patient in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

They are researching medical reports and looking into performing some experimental procedures (because unfortunatly his condition is SO RARE there have not been studies performed to solidify the validity of what they’re HOPING will work for him). In fact, as I write this post, they are trying an expermental plasmatic exchange that we’re crossing our fingers will offer some kind of MEDICAL progress (beyond the progress we are praying for as a simple result of the hope and faith we have in God ).
I have COMPLETE faith that God has that ace up his sleeve.

You can read more about her baby’s condition and daily updates on her blog.  I know many of you may not know her and her family, but please keep them in your prayers.  The power of prayer is really miraculous and with God anything is possible.

Charli Kei Warner | Utah Newborn Baby Photographer

Introducing my darling little niece Charli Kei.  She was born at 7 lbs. 1 oz. and 18″ long (I think…)  She is so so adorable and just precious!  It ALMOST makes me want to have another baby, but then I remember all of the long nights awake and the all day of no showering (wait I still do that!), constantly feeding and changing diapers–and then I decide I’m happy where I’m at right now for the time being.  Babies just make me so happy.  They are so innocent and peaceful.  :)  Congrats Chris and Nancy!  Welcome to a crazy world where your cousins will always be fighting over you!!!:)
B.T.W.  Check out that POOP!  Charli splattered all over her aunty during the shoot.  It was hilarious so I just had to include the shot!;)  That’s what babies do…eat, poop, and sleep!  hahahaha…
