6 Month Baby Pics | Utah Baby Photographer

Just like her cute little pants says…she’s sure gonna be a heart breaker when she gets older.  What a sweet little one.  She was so good and patient with us rolling her back and forth, throwing on clothes, then taking them off.  We tried getting her to smile the entire time, but instead she gave me this look of WHA?  But I just LOVE how her pictures turned out.  Sommer, I hope you love them as much as I do!  Thanks for asking me to take her pictures!

P.S.  It’s too bad…no more kiddie kandids for ya!  just sanae james photography! hahahaha…..

Ben & Callista Wedding Slideshow| Utah Wedding Photographer

I just finished up Ben & Callista’s wedding so I thought I’d post the slideshow.  Hope you like it.

Yummy Malasadas | Utah Photographer

I made these today.  I shouldn’t have, but I did.  It was so DELICIOUS.  I first fell in love with Malasadas when we lived in Laie.  The Leonard Jr.’s Malasada trucks would park themselves every couple of months at the Food Land Shopping Center right down the hill from us.  You could smell the sweet luring aroma of these malasadas as soon as you walked anywhere near the truck.  We would always make a point to stop by and buy a box full of them every time the truck was there.  Oh, just thinking of it makes my mouth water….

If you’re not familiar with what Malasadas are, they are kind of like sugar covered donuts, but not.  In my opinion, they are WAY better than donuts.  My kids would say, “Yummalicious.”  That’s how good they are.  So needless to say, I broke down and made a couple of batches today.  I only ate one…but I sure wanted to eat a bunch more.

New Place…New Face…hahahaha| Utah Photography

So my husband Rob tells me the other day I’m taking too many pictures of the kids . . . so I said great, then let me take pictures of you, hahaha. He laughed and said no ways . . but after some haggling he agreed to do it as a date, since he hasn’t taken me on a date in forever. So I picked out his outfit and we went off in search of a new place to shoot at. We’ve driven past this place in AF a ton of times, but have never stopped to check it out. I’m glad I did cause I found some unexpected cool spots. Definitely gonna use this spot for a future family/engagement shoot, bes believe dat! Despite Rob complaining about the cold, poses I wanted him to do, and his inability to keep a straight face and not crack up, I think we got some good shots. I had to fight him on posting these, so leave a comment and holla back to let Rob know taking pictures for your wife doesn’t mean you’re a pozer, hahaha.
