Ariri Shop | Spring Line

The Ariri Shop is at it again! You’ve seen Mayako’s amazing crocheted beanies before, and now she has come out with her spring line of crocheted bandana/head bands. Aren’t they adorable? She has also come out with some new beanies with new colors as well so you will definitely need to check out her store ASAP.

A special thank you to all the beautiful little models who came out! Leave it to my kids to wind up crying because of a splinter in their thumb, and fooling around the entire time just to make it extra hard for me to take their pictures. Oh well….

For Cassie & Kai

I am bad at keeping in touch with people. BAD. I met Cassie when we lived in Laie. I remember talking to her on numerous occasions about kids. I had two at the time, and she so badly wanted a baby. It took awhile for her dreams to come true, but when it did she was overjoyed. Okay, maybe even overjoyed is an understatement. But I was so happy for her. You see, Cassie is just one of those ladies that you know are BORN to be a mother. You can just feel the love she has for her little boy just by looking at them.

During our session, Kai was just not really that into taking pictures. But as soon as he was in his mother’s arms, you could just see the change in him. I don’t know what it was, but at that moment I saw that strong connection and bond between them that seriously made me want to cry. Maybe because those flashbacks of our talks about her longing for a child of her own kept creeping into my mind. Whatever it was, I’m so glad that I was there to witness this special bond between a mother and her son. Cassie…you are amazing. You are beautiful and kind and such a GOOD person. Kai is lucky to have you as his mommy…and you are lucky to have such a cute little boy! Love ya girl.

McBride Family

I can’t say enough how cute this family is!!! It was dark and overcast AGAIN, and to top it off it was crazy windy…but they were troopers and hung in there. For awhile there, I think I must have been scaring the kids, but after bribing them with snacks and bubbles, I think they liked me! ha..ha… It was so nice to meet you McBride family! You have the most ADORABLE little kiddos around!

Jordan Boone American Fork High Grad ‘10

I looked out the window and saw clouds. Lots of clouds. Then a burst of sun. Then more clouds. Rain. Sprinklies but rain nonetheless. I was crossing my fingers that it would stop because I had gorgeous Jordan to shoot her senior session. I’m so glad it stopped raining. It was a little more overcast than I liked. It was a little dark, but we worked it out.

Isn’t Jordan so cute?!? I LOVE her cowboy hat! I grew up mostly in the city, so the whole cowboy hat/boots thing never was something I saw much. I’m so glad she whipped it out for her pics. So I’ll bust out my cowboyness (yes, I just made that word up people) and say this….Ya’ll this here gurrl is so purrty and to top it off she is such a fun and outgoin’ kinda gal. Good luck with Student Council this upcoming year—you are gonna have so much fun!

P.S. That was a bad bad immitation of the cowboyness, but you catch my drift. Now check out the pics and let her know how GORGEOUS she is!
