This is Part I of a II part series of engagement photos. Why? Because of the crazy weather. We had to reschedule part of their engagements because it was raining and too dark to shoot outside…so you’ll have to sit tight for the second half. We got a bunch of cute shots while the weather was cooperating, but this post focuses more on the theater shots because I thought their idea was so cute and original. When I met Megh & Layne for their wedding consultation, they explained to me that they had this idea of shooting in a theater. They wanted to feature some of the theater shots in a future couples shower they were going to have–and their shower’s theme…”REEL LOVE.” Isn’t that so cute?!? So, part of the engagement shoot had to be in a theater. I was a little skeptical of how they would turn out since I hadn’t shot in a theater before…but I was up for the challenge. I really loved how they turned out…I used off-camera lighting (Thanks Sydney for your amazing assistant skillz!) to get the effect I wanted in a dark theater. These are just two shots of a bunch that were so cute…but in the interest of time, I edited these to show for now. Megh…you are so radiant and gorgeous. Layne…not to bad yourself!:)
